The only masjid in northwestern Ontario, a vibrant hub of activity and worship, has been serving the community since the early 2000s.

At the core of our mission is the unwavering commitment to uphold and spread the timeless principles and teachings of Islam, as guided by the Quran and the Sunnah. We strive to create a welcoming environment where every individual can deepen their faith and connect with the divine.

About TBMRA
Nestled in the heart of Thunder Bay, our community has been a beacon of faith and unity since the 1980s. The Thunder Bay Muslim Religious Association was established to nurture and support the spiritual, cultural, and social needs of Muslims in Thunder Bay and the surrounding areas.
The aims and objectives of the association, as per our constitution:
- To promote the principles and teachings of Islam based on the Quran and the Sunnah.
- To fulfill the religious, social and cultural needs of the Muslims of Thunder Bay and District.
- To promote a sense of mutual respect and better understanding between the Muslims and the community at large.
- To own, acquire, establish, rent and maintain any property, physical facilities, or assets which would help achieve the aforesaid aims and objectives.
